Understanding sync direction
Calendar sync is bidirectional but asymmetric:

If a booking exists in Links but not in your calendar after 2 minutes, the issue is with the outbound sync. If an Outlook/Google event isn't blocking a Links slot, the issue is with the inbound sync.
Links bookings not appearing in calendar
- Check that calendar sync is enabled: Settings → Integrations → Calendar → Status
- Verify the connected calendar account matches your booking account
- Re-authorize the integration (OAuth tokens expire after 90 days):
Settings → Integrations → [Calendar provider] → Reconnect
- Check if your calendar provider's API is experiencing issues at status.links.io
Corporate Outlook accounts with DLP policies sometimes block external app writes. Ask your IT admin to allow the Links app in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
External events not blocking Links
This usually means Links doesn't have read permission on your calendar:
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Calendar → Permissions
- Verify the integration has Read calendar events permission
- If using Google Workspace: ensure the Links OAuth scope includes
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly - For organization-wide blocking (meeting room calendars), an Admin must authorize the service account under the Google Suite Connect addon settings
Use the Sync Debug tool in Settings → Integrations → Calendar → Advanced → Test Sync to see exactly which events are being imported and any errors.
