Set up digital check-in, visitor pre-registration, badge printing, and host notifications.
We start with Setting up visitor check-in, move on to Pre-registering visitors, cover Host notifications, and wrap up with Badge printing.
Setting up visitor check-in
Go to Dashboard → Visitors → Settings and enable the visitor kiosk:
- Select the devices that will serve as check-in kiosks (tablets at reception)
- Choose a check-in flow: QR code, Name search, or Both
- Add your company logo and welcome message
- Configure required fields (name, email, phone, company, host)
- Enable NDA / health declaration if needed
Pre-registering visitors
Hosts can pre-register expected visitors from the mobile app or dashboard:
Dashboard → Visitors → + Invite Visitor → Enter details → Send invite
The visitor receives a QR code email they can show at the kiosk for a 5-second check-in. Pre-registered visitors skip all form fields.
Host notifications
When a visitor checks in, the host is notified via:
- Slack — direct message to the host's Slack account
- Email — "Your visitor [Name] has arrived at reception"
- Links mobile app — push notification with visitor details
Configure notification channels in Settings → Notifications → Visitor Arrivals.
